Station 5 - Entrepreneurial Skills Advanced / In-depth Workshops

To successfully complete the Entrepreneurial Skills, the attendance of a completed workshop representing one ECTS credit is mandatory. The range of workshops is continuously expanded. The offer of workshops changes according to semester. The current workshops are semester dependent.

The workshops offered include:

Pitch Training

In order to convince a jury, investors or customers, an idea or a company must be able to be presented correctly and accurately. This is called "pitching" in the startupkontex. In pitch training, the basic rules of a short presentation - pitching - are taught. These include gesture, facial expression, rhetoric, construction and execution. By combining theoretical input with self-directed execution on your own or predefined topics, pitching can be learned quickly and easily.

Business Plan Basics Seminar

Students receive a guide and helpful tools for creating a business plan for their own business idea. They learn how a business plan is structured and receive a presentation of the basics through lectures from experts. In parallel with the seminar, students write a business plan for the business plan and receive feedback on the results. The business plan answers the founders themselves and potential investors, which products or services can be launched, at what price, how to market them.

Experience Design Thinking

In the elective module "Experience Design Thinking," students work on a real-world challenge in a practice-oriented design thinking training. The students are put together in interdisciplinary teams and develop a user-centered solution for each challenge. The teams go through the design thinking process in short design sprint sessions. In this way, they learn about the user-centered approach to generating innovative solutions to complex problems. The design thinking techniques help students to solve complex problems in an agile and creative way. These are directly applied in the development of innovative prototypes in the form of products, services or processes. The "Experience Design Thinking" workshop is aimed at motivated, interested and engaged students who want to think "out of the box" and develop a solution for a relevant issue.
