hei_INNOVATION cordially invites you to join the IMPACT DAY 2025 – an event dedicated to promoting innovation and bridging the gap between groundbreaking research and real-world application. On May 14, 2025, we will showcase the university's most innovative research fields and highlight the significance of their findings for business, society, and politics in Heidelberg's Old Town at the New University. IMPACT DAY 2025 unites academia and industry to address pressing challenges and drive change by fostering exchange and networking.

    The finalists of the Ideas Competition present their innovative projects to the public.
     
  • 4 - 5 pm | Opening Session
    Moderated by Ira Stoll, featuring a keynote speech by Nils Müller (Trendone) and a panel discussion with Johannes Maurer (Aleph Alpha) and Ursula Kramer (HealthOn).
     
  • 5 - 6:30 pm | Showcase Research & Innovation
    Presentation of groundbreaking research, start-ups at various growth stages, and major university innovation initiatives.
     
  • 5:30 - 6 pm | Spotlight Sessions
    Engaging discussions around the topic of universities as engines of innovation and impact.
     
  • 6:30 - 8 pm | Ignition Night
    Including “Heidelberg 2036 – A Glimpse into the Future”, a special presentation by Nils Müller and the finale and award ceremony of this year’s hei_INNOVATION Idea Competition.
